Delicious nutty cheese, perfect in sandwiches, fondue, cubed in salads or just on it's own. My favourite!

Separately I like. Together in a product, disgusting. What were they thinking? Shudder.

Beautiful long coiled sausage from the pork gods of Schull. Venison and worcestershire in there too. Fabulous.

One of the best things about living in Ireland is the availability and choice of butchers. This was simply not an option when we lived in the US and we ended up having to buy the dubious supermarket meat. We've lived in three towns in Ireland now...

This wonderful Boucherie/Charcuterie/Traiteur in Chamonix was a last minute find before we left for home and it was the perfect end to a short break away.

Standard tourist fare but not bad and amazing value. Fixed price menus great. Try the fondue, raclette or pelas to get a feel for local cheesy dishes. Side salads not great. You'll leave sated and stuffed.

Interesting product from Dunnes Stores. Decent meat and an unusual cut from an Irish Supermarket
